Computational Origami
Link : http://www.theiff.org/oexhibits/paper01.html
To the paper folder, the square is the origin of all form. Where others see only the void – dull, blank, meaningless – the folder sees a world already overflowing with possibilities.
Computational Origami, a relatively young field which describes about the use of mathematical means to lay crease on a piece of a square paper and fold along it, to develope complex polygons like insects and spiders more realistically holding the shape intact.
